Sweetest Playground EVER!

We got seriously spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Stansfield this year. They splurged on an awesome playground for the kids for Christmas this year, and decided that they could have it (9 months) early! They were THRILLED to say the least, and so were Danny and I. I had been wanting this playground for the kids for some time now, but all it took was Dylan yelling "slide!!!!!" in Costco and it melted Grandma. I spent 4 days assembling it, with the help of my awesome friend Julie and before long we have the best playground ever! Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa!!! We love it so much!!!!!! And we love YOU so much!

St. Patrick's Day Massacre

We live in the most amazing community and have such fun friends! This year on St. Patrick's Day a bunch of families got together and had a flour bomb fight. Some of the moms filled up nylons with flour and the kids enjoyed beating each other with them. It was SOOOOO fun I couldn't believe it! You can use them over and over again until all of the flour eventually comes out, and I was surprised how long they lasted. Super fun.

Lily about to hit her unsuspecting little brother
 Loving ever minute of it

Green milk and Lucky Charms afterwards. Nice.
The adults got in on the fun too

Lily's Fire Station Field Trip

This year for Lily's preschool a group of friends decided to do a rotating preschool for our little ones. Usually we just rotate from one person's house to another each week, but occasionally we have a field trip. In January we headed over to the fire station which was SO fun. I personally haven't ever toured a fire station, and was so glad I got to! I was bummed that I didn't pull Allie out of school to join us, because it was super informative, very fun, and now when we see the firemen at the grocery store doing their grocery shopping they even remember us! It's a fairly new station, and we were able look around, hear about what they do on a daily basis, see where they sleep, hang out, relax, and even got to climb around the fire engine. Very fun. Thanks to Karen for planning it!!

Here's Dylan getting a little snuggle from the fire chief.
Checking out the weight room

This is one of the bedrooms. They turned the alarm on so we could see the red lights go off when they wake up. Turns out your eyes can adjust faster if it'd red light right when you wake up, rather then just the regular light.

Dylan and his buddy Ben. The kids all got cute hats and little badges with their names on them.

Some people were a little sad when it was time to go

Childrens Museum of Phoenix

During Spring Break we went to the Children's Museum with a huuuuge group of kids. It was so fun, and so crazy, but SO fun. They seemed to have the very most fun in the grocery store, where Allie and a bunch of the bigger kids ran the restocking operation, and Lily and many of the younger kids scooted around picking out their groceries. It was so fun, the kids had a blast, and we ended up getting a membership there so we'll have a year full of museum fun.
The art room was also really fun. There were several station for kids of all sizes. They made several different craft projects, and played play dough and painted. It was great cause they enjoyed it, made a huge mess, and then we didn't have to clean it up!

This was a giant rocket that they kids got to paint. They change the color every day and new coats of paint go on top of the old. I guess they change out the structure every month or so. Dylan especially loved it.

He did not however enjoy when it was time to stop. :( At one point he when running across the room, bare foot, pink footprints everywhere, paintbrush in hand, and smacked the brush right into one little boys ear. Yuck! Luckily it was one of our friends so they forgave us quickly.
There is so much to do and see, I couldn't take pictures of everything, I had to try to keep track of all the kids, but we will be going back a lot. :)
