They had a really fun post season party, where the kids all got trophies and danced and danced and danced. It was hilarious, and reminded me of junior high dances. It was a "Jungle" party, hence some of the outfits...

My Little Butterfly
Allie's first year of swim team was a blast. She learned four strokes: freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke, and butterfly. Her favorite was the butterfly, and I just loved watching her do it. Her little bum poking up out of the water was so cute. She loved every minute of swim team, and never missed a practice. She had such great coaches, and made some good friends there too. She had practice every morning at 7:45, and was always dressed and ready to go by the time I woke up. Meets were usually on Saturdays. Kind of long, but totally worth it. She got a ribbon for each stroke regardless of where she placed. I loved that she got up, got great exercise, and learned something so useful. Yay Val Vista Lakes Dolphins!!
