It's a little quiet around here this morning. Today was Allie's first day of Kindergarten, and Lily's first day of Preschool. So it's just me and the boy for a little while. Strangely quiet. Their first day wasn't actually as sad for me as I thought it would be. They were both so excited and happy that I guess it wore off on me and I was just excited for them too. I walked Allie to school, and as we approached the school she says "you can just drop me off here if you want to." She has always been so independent that I'm not surprised. She didn't mind that I wanted to walk her to her class, but she certainly wasn't sad to see me leave either. She was the very first patient of the year in the Nurses office though, with a blister from that loooooong trek to school. :) Then I came home and walked Lily to her school. She also didn't even notice when I left. I'm proud of my girls for being so brave and so excited for such big changes in their lives. So now I have a little more time on my hands. Catching up on my blog is one thing that I'll have a chance to do. Both of them are done at 11 though, so its just the perfect amount of time to get a few things done but not miss them too much.

Aw! I'm so proud of all 3 of you! The girls looked so cute on their first day of school and I bet they are the best kids in class. I'm glad it wasn't too sad for you because I kind of teared up thinking of them in school. Haha. I'm glad it was a success and I'm excited for more blogs from you :)
Any breakfast that involves meat is special in my book! I made french toast with the Alpine Valley cranberry spice bread (yum!), sausages, apple juice and grapes. Logan's such a carnivore he devoured Colin's leftover sausages after he asked if he was finished with them. P.S. Oh, and your girls are beautiful in these pictures! So grown up! :)
aww, i miss the stansfields!
Your little Allie is growing up!
