This last weekend for the Fourth of July holiday we went to California to go to Disneyland for 3 days, and then to the beach. So fun. We thought it was going to be packed beyond belief, and it was busy, but not as bad as we expected. We woke the kids up at 5 AM and hit the road, not telling them where we were going until they recognized it when we were pulling in to the parking lot. They are great travelers, and having several movies to keep them occupied never hurts. We really packed each day, so they had very little sleep, other than a few naps in the stroller for Dylan, and they did great! Definitely Danny and I were way more tired then they were. It was worth it though. As we got in the car at the end of each day Lily would say "Thank you for taking me to Disneyland!" in her sweet little voice. That's all we needed. We saw all kinds of kids all over the place throwing tantrums and driving their parents crazy and we were so grateful that ours were just glad to be there, and that made it fun for all of us.
