Random Stuff

I finally downloaded a bunch of pictures that were on my phone, and figured I'd post a few of my favorites. Some of these I'd forgotten about and I thought they were too cute to pass up. My family is all coming out next week, I'm so excited to see them! :) Stay tuned for cute little girl picture overload as all four little cousins play for the first time.

Allie and Lily riding the carousel at the mall. They like the zebra the best.
Our new favorite mode of transportation. Another ride on the zebra.

My new niece Baby Leah getting ready for a walk. She's so little!!!

Allie and Libby playing with their camera phones. They make the little clicking sound like cameras really do and that's all you could hear coming from the backseat our entire trip.
Allie and Abby modeling some hip new glasses at PacSun
Danny and I went to the rookie game at All Star Weekend here in Phoenix!
I woke up to giggling one morning and this is what I found.
Allie and Libby riding Mohave the camel
Allie and Danny at a Phoenix Coyotes game. My first hockey game ever, sooooo fun!
ASU's #1 cheer leader and cheek leader. (Happy birthday Emma!!)
Allie loves having a real person to push around instead of her dollies

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Allie just came running in here with a Sponge Bob DVD and said "Mommy it's Patrick's Day!" It's really great how cultured she is. She relates everything in life to the the residents of Bikini Bottom. I can't really blame her though. We took the girls to the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and Danny told Allie the story of the Pied Piper but said his name was actually St. Patrick. Perhaps it's her parents that could use a lesson in Irish culture. I saw on Yahoo today that St. Patrick was actually born in Scotland, and was brought to Ireland when he was captured and enslaved by Irish bandits. Strange. So there you go. Your bit of trivia for the day. Don't forget to wear green! Or else you'll get pinched. If someone could explain the rationale of that to me I'd really appreciate it. Am I the only one who is very confused by this holiday? At least is made a good excuse to make green pancakes for breakfast.

I'd prefer soccer cleats...

...but ballet shoes it is. Today was Allie's first Princess Ballet and Tap class, and she could not have been more thrilled. She has been looking forward to this for months and months now, and now that she's 3 she was able to sign up. She had a great time. It was fun to see her enjoy something so much, and she did a good job following directions from her teacher. Apparantly the other kids had some seperation anxiety. Not Allie. She just opened up the door and ran in, and didn't look back. They did some little toe taps, and kicks, and various little dance moves, and then at the end got to put on some princess crowns and have wands and wings and stuff. I'm really not sure if she's actually my daughter, because at no point did she roll her eyes and say, "Mom this is kind of lame, can we go shoot hoops instead?"
Allie in her princess attireAllie and her BFF Abby after class. Abby is actually 7 months older, just is on the shorter side. I wonder where she got that from?? I'm sure there has never been a smarter 3 year old ever. She is a great friend for Allie.
